About the Dennis Inn
The Dennis Inn was originally built as a private home in the 1920s and has a rich history spanning nearly a century. After serving as a summer rental and a family residence, it was transformed into the Windswept Restaurant and Inn in the 1950s. During its heyday, Windswept was a popular destination for both local residents and famous guests, including Irving Berlin and other stars from the nearby Cape Playhouse.

In addition to our room block, we have curated a list of recommended accommodations within 20 minutes of our venue. We encourage you to book your accommodations as early as possible given the high demand on Cape Cod during the peak summer season.

We have reserved 40 rooms at the Uncommoner Hotel in West Yarmouth. If you plan to stay here, we recommend booking at least 60 days prior to the wedding weekend. Please call them at 800-338-6322 and mention the MIKE/CHELSEA Wedding Group to reserve a room. If they don’t immediately answer, please leave a voicemail, and they should call you back in 24-48 hours.

There are so many beautiful pockets of Cape Cod. If you opt for an Airbnb, VRBO, or a local rental company, we’d recommend staying in either Mid Cape (Dennis, Yarmouth, Barnstable, or Hyannis) or Lower Cape (Brewster, Harwich, Orleans, or Chatham). The closest towns would be Dennis and Brewster.
